                                                                                                       Story 147

                                                 He Didn‛t Unnerve

Baseball fans love Reggie because he had power in reserve and he had spirit or

verve (a fact easy to observe).

Most batters when struck by a ball will unnerve. Not Reggie! He had the nerve to

remain in the batter’s box to homer any curve a pitcher would serve. And this is

why he did deserve ten times that of the highest-paid reserve.

                                                                                                       Story 148

                                                      Women‛s Lib

As children, brothers and sisters are equally called sibs. However, as adults, some

men, now and then, treat women as though they’re still babies wearing bibs,
        playing in cribs.

So today women squib for Women’s lib, wanting much more than Adam’s rib.
