he HPE Gives theme in March/April was the Environment and HPE partnered with Ocean Conservancy as part
Tof our theme. In April 2017, ten HPE Kotara employees plus family members met at Dudley Beach to spend an
8 - 14 May 2017 hour collecting rubbish from the beach, then arranged disposal and collated the results, which were sent to Ocean
      Conservancy.

Ocean and waterway rubbish ranks as one of the most serious pollution problems on our planet. This rising tide of
marine debris threatens human health, wildlife, communities and economies. Ocean trash is preventable, and data
you collect are part of the solution. Next time you’re at the beach, or on a waterway, use the Clean Swell app to send
data to Ocean Conservancy to organise, analyse and be part of the published result.
