Chesapeake Alumnae Philanthropy

We sponsor Rosemary Mwape a 17 year old from Zambia, Africa, through

Child Fund International.

She is in the eleventh grade and likes reading books. She enjoys
going to church and helps her family by cleaning the surrounding and
washing plates. She benefitted from the following programs provided
by Chibombo Child Development Agency: letter writings, CPR, and Tom
shoes.

Not much goes on in Africa except for war. They have made great
progress in digging wells for clean and accessible water.

It costs $22 a month to support Rosemary. Members and friends can
make donations in any amount; any extra funds are sent for Christmas

and for Rosemary’s birthday.

Any additional money allows us to send a Christmas and birthday gift.
Please be generous with your support of Rosemary! Her birthday is

June 16th!

We extend a special thanks to Sheila and all who contribute; we
could not sponsor Rosemary without you.
