           We all know that exercise is important in our daily lives, but we may not know
           why or what exercise can do for us. If you don’t exercise, your muscles will
           become flabby and weak. Your heart and lungs won’t function efficiently. And
           your joints will be stiff and easily injured. Inactivity is as much of a health risk
           as smoking!
           Exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and
           overall health and wellness. It is performed for various reasons, including in-
           creasing growth and development, preventing aging, strengthening muscles
           and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills, weight loss or mainte-
           nance, improving health and also for enjoyment. Many individuals choose to
           exercise outdoors where they can congregate in groups, socialize, and en-
           hance well-being.
