DOMESTIC
In 2020, we focused on youth education, prevention and support as well as the direct treatment and care of women. While the COVID-19 pandemic put unprecedented stress on our partners that provide direct care and support to people living with HIV, fortunately no programs were cancelled. Although some did experience delays and changes, everyone was able to continue some version of their services,
AND WE WERE ABLE TO REACH 23,131 INDIVIDUALS.
PrEP Working Group: supports the agency’s various educational and Positively Trans (T+): Led by trans women of color living with HIV, Mobile COVID-19 and HIV Testing, and case management for linkage methods to PrEP/PEP for Black gay men and youth. Positively Trans is a network of 160+ trans PLHIV that addresses BIPOC youth.

As part of ETAF’s long history with Macy’s in the fight against HIV, on February 27, 2020,
Elizabeth Taylor’s birthday, we announced our grant awards, as a result of the $1,000,000 raised from Macy’s Thanks for Sharing program to support ETAF’s 2020 priorities- Youth HIV Education
& Prevention & Health Navigation and Mental Health Wellness for Women affected by HIV and AIDS.
