DirecTV New Program Pricing

New Program Pricing
CSCS is pleased to announce that negotiations with DirecTV were recently completed that allow for
Apple Members to have more favorable package pricing options. The previous Joinder Agreement
included a 20% discount from retail rate for the Commercial Xtra Pack package. With the new Joinder
Agreement, this discount has increased to 53% off of retail rate for the Commercial Xtra Pack
package. Additional benefits include the reduction of the additional outlet fee (beginning on the second
receiver) from $15 each to $5 each on the Commercial Xtra Pack and the Commercial Entertainment
Pack.
The current after-discount rates under the new Agreement can be found on the Apple Member website
under DirecTV.

The changes from the previous to the new Joinder Agreement will save current DirecTV users an
estimated 35% or $1.4 Million annually. In order to receive the new program pricing, Apple Members
need to sign the new Joinder Agreement, which is located on the DirecTV page of the Apple Member
website. Members that do not sign the new Joinder Agreement are subject to price increases effective
May 1 of 4.84% on current program pricing.
That’s not all – there is more fantastic news about the updated DirecTV program!

NFL Sunday Ticket Pricing
Per the previous Agreement, participating Apple Members would receive a 20% discount off the retail
rate of NFL Sunday Ticket – in some instances a discount beyond 20% could be negotiated. Rates were
tiered based on the fire occupancy viewing level restaurant, causing them to vary greatly within a
Member organization. Retail rates for 2017 have been determined already, presenting themselves at a
higher rate than last year with the expectation that rates will continue to increase. However, new NFL
Sunday Ticket Pricing is also part of the renegotiated program.

Pricing for NFL Sunday Ticket is now set for the next FIVE years at $1985 per season. This is a 75%
discount off of the current retail rate. Pricing is set at this rate regardless of the fire occupancy viewing
level of a restaurant. This pricing is available to those Apple Co-op Members who have signed the new
Joinder Agreement with DirecTV.

Action Steps:
1. In order to receive the new program pricing, and avoid a price increase on May 1, Apple Members
need to sign a new Joinder Agreement on the Member website
2. Talk to team about getting NFL Sunday Ticket in restaurants
