the starting point is ‘I am wrong’, or in other words,
you blame yourself and not anyone else for what you
experience. Generally, people do no admit that they were
at fault. When one has the ability to admit one’s mistake,
then things change for the better.
The King of Japan, Emperor Hirohito, had said at the
time of the Japanese defeat in WWII:
It is according to the dictates of time and
fate that we have resolved to pave the way
for a grand peace for all the generations
to come by enduring the unendurable
and suffering what is insufferable. (The
Gyokuon-hoso broadcast, on accepting the
Potsdam Declaration)
This is an example of the last extent of admitting our
mistake.

rayer is the compensation of a person’s helplessness. An

and prayer is his response to such occasions. He calls out
to a Being that is above and beyond him.
