Avocado Banana Hair Mask
Items you will need:
● 1 medium-sized ripe avocado
● 1 medium-sized ripe banana
● 1 tablespoon avocado oil
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Wash and peel your medium-sized banana and avocado.
2. Break the banana into small pieces and add them to a
mixing bowl.
3. With a sharp kitchen knife, make an incision into the avocado till
the center. Then, run your knife around the avocado to let
the incision divide the fruit into two parts.
4. With your hands, twist the avocado and pull apart to get two
halves.
5. Remove the central pit and scoop the flesh out with a spoon.
6. Add the flesh to the mixing bowl containing the banana pieces.
7. With a spoon or your fingers, mash the flesh into a pulp. It’s
okay if you don’t have a pulp with a smooth texture - mush
the fruits together as much as you can.
8. Warm up your avocado oil and add to this mix. Continue to
blend till you have a thoroughly mixed mask.
9. If the mask is too thick, you can add a tablespoon or two of
water to dilute it and make it easy to apply.
10. Use a brush, spoon or even your fingers to apply this resulting
mask to your hair.
11. Apply evenly and ensure that you cover all sections of your
scalp thoroughly.
12. Cover your hair with a shower cap or plastic bag and allow the
mask to work its wonders for about fifteen to thirty
minutes.
13. Then, rinse off with lots of water and an optional sulfate-free
shampoo.
14. Apply this treatment to your hair about three to four times a
month for damage-resistant hair that is healthy and shiny.
