The Diary of a Horse Skeptic
Dear Diary,
Hey! Hey! Diary wake up we are not finished. We
have to make a final entry.
This is the first Thursday after the program
ended. Wow and double wow I cannot believe that
the five weeks flew by so rapidly. There are a
few more things that I have to say. I do not
want this to get too melancholy or maudlin.
Since I returned from Vietnam in 1970 I have
had to journey down many trails. Many trails.
There has been an veritable alphabet soup of
trails. There have been scary trails and serene
trails, there have been wonderful trails and woeful
trails, there have been bad trails and beautiful
trails. Pleasant trails and pitiful trails, lonely trails
and loving trails, friendly trails and fearsome
trails. Harrowing trails and Happy Trails. This
Equus Effect Equine Therapy has helped me in my
journey. They helped me to see that all trails can
be Happy Trails. It is my hope that the
remaining trails of my journey are indeed Happy
Trails. However if they are not all happy what I
can do is think of my time at Pegasus Farm,
remember the lessons and things should be good.
To paraphrase General McArthur: Horses and
People of Pegasus Farm I SHALL return!
In closing: MAY THE HORSE BE WITH YOU!!
(I know Diary ugh.)
