What is the curriculum like?
The BSN curriculum is designed to be directly applicable to your
career. Some of the courses include: Leadership and Strategic
Planning, Community Health, Case Management, and Health
Assessment. The assignments allow you to combine reflections on
your own practice along with current information and research
regarding the healthcare industry.
The MSN curriculum is even more applicable to your career
endeavors, and you will have opportunities in many classes to
complete activities in your field based on your chosen specialization.
These activities are called “practice experience” activities and they
allow you to gain hands-on knowledge and professional
development-based experience in your facility of employment, or
another facility of your choice. Practice experience activities may
include interviewing and shadowing nursing leaders in your chosen
specialization, attending webinars and conferences, reading journal
articles, or creating your own practice experience activity with the
help of our faculty.
