Professor Hopeton S. Dunn is Director of the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) and Professor of Communications Policy and Digital Media at the University of the West Indies. He is a multiple award-winning UWI researcher and a 2014 recipient of the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in the area of Public Service. Professor Dunn is also Chairman of the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica.
Ms Olivia Bravo is an assistant lecturer who teaches in the Integrated Marketing Communications and Journalism programmes at CARIMAC. She is responsible for the Institute’s special projects and outreach initiatives. She also provides the Institute with strategic marketing support and manages its professional development programmes. She holds an MA in Marketing Communication (Bournemouth University) and BA in Media and Communication (The University of the West Indies).
Mrs Janneth Mornan-Green is a communications consultant and a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies. She holds an MA in Communication Studies and a BA (Hons) degree (Communication major) from the University of the West Indies (UWI). She has worked in the communication field for over 20 years.
Dr Maria Protz is a Communication for Development (C4D) specialist with a PhD from the University of Reading, UK. She has taught “Communication Analysis and Planning” at the graduate level as part of CARIMAC’s master’s degree programme in Communication for Social and Behaviour Change. As a consultant, she has worked extensively throughout the English-speaking Caribbean.
