2009 PROTOTYPES | TARGET
In early 2005 several key groups within the company started to research possible ideas and opportunities to update the 2004 store design to anticipate a five year refresh strategy (scheduled for a 2009 roll out). As one of the Store Design leaders for prototype design in the Architecture group, I first established a schedule for a 2009 development program based on input from a wide range of internal departments and leaders.
Below is the overview schedule graphic that I developed and which was used by the entire development team to chart the project’s progress. The gray bar at the bottom of the time line was con- sistently updated to track the progress of the design and development activities.
