Jason Saunders
Jason A. Saunders began his art journey early. Al- ways doodling and watch- ing his oldest brother draw, were some of Jason’s earliest memories of art. As he grew older his family, teachers,
and peers were vital to his growth. There were the occasional school awards and ac- colades that went along with being the class artist. But, the most signi cant part of Jason’s journey began in college. In 1991, Jason began his studies at David Lipscomb Uni- versity, in Nashville, Tennessee. Through the late 1990’s, Jason traveled to study with acclaimed landscape artist, Scott L. Chris- tensen, in Wyoming. There, Jason began to hone his skills as a landscape painter. Since then, Jason has painted thousands of plein air paintings from California to Maine, but he loves the landscape of Tennessee. His paintings are in ne collections throughout the world. www.saunders neart.com
