ABOUT THE MANUAL

This manual is intended to be used to provide financial educa on training to Children and Young students
from Schools and Universi es in Pakistan. It is based on simple, useful and fun interac ve materials, which
can be conveyed using the provided Learning materials. The trainers are teachers from schools and

universi es of Pakistan. Each learning session is based on a simple and straigh orward four step delivery
model, and can be delivered in approximately 60 minutes each.

Session Specifics

In each session, the trainer will find:

Es mated ming for the session and each step
Instruc ons to the trainer for each task in green italic font
Suggested text to say to par cipants in normal font

Orienta on ques ons to introduce the topic to par cipants & help relate it to their lives in BOLD
Complementary eLearning Material, video and/or audio story available to illustrate the topic
(op onal for schools and universi es that have access to computers and projectors)

A simple, ac onable and memorable “Rule of Thumb” to help them apply the new ideas
An ac vity or set of ques ons to allow learners to prac ce new ideas and skills
An ac vity, task or ques on to ensure that learners consider how to apply their new ideas and

skills in their own lives

Each session relies on Key Messages and training process that are SUM for learning:

SIMPLE: Easy to understand by the learner. Avoid complicated or overly academic Language

USEFUL: Provide the learners with something they can do or act upon immediately
MEMORABLE: They are easy to memorize as they rhyme or use a play on words
