TOP 10 THINGS WE’LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT
88 GODFREY ROAD WEST
1. Watching the wildlife wander through. Wild Turkey,
Owl and colorful birds share our backyard and they
are joyous neighbors to have.
2. The changing seasons at Godfrey are simply breath
taking. Spring is a favorite in our home.
3. Enjoying the fire pit on starry nights, for a meteor
shower or while hosting friends. Godfrey is the ultimate
entertaining retreat.
4. Hosting a party in the barn with live music. The original
wood from 1890 makes for perfect acoustics.
Halloween parties and Christmas gatherings have
been our favorite.
5. The solitude is wonderful with the amenities of Weston
Center, Westport and Georgetown just minutes away.
6. The guest house/studio has been a work space for live
music and special recordings. The space lends itself to
creativity and acts as a perfect sleep cabin for family
reunions.
7. Devil's Den's 1700 acres and Godfrey Pond accessed
through our own personal entrance.
8. NYC via Cannondale train station (7 min drive) is 90
minutes away. After an exhilarating time in the city,
returning to Godfrey is nothing short of transformative.
9. Getting lost in all the unique spaces. Godfrey's layout
makes it feel much bigger than the 5250 sq ft in the
main house. The house was thoughtfully designed
and each room invokes its own inspiration and
restoration.
10. Weston is a community of great people and nature -
two things we love and will miss.
