P. 125

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For
as in Adam all die, even so In Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his
own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even

the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For
He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that
shall be destroyed is death. (I Corinthians 15:20 ̶ 26)

I protest by your rejoicing which I have In Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If
after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it
me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. Be not

deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and
sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
                   (I Corinthians 15:31 ̶ 34)

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one
husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any
means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be
corrupted from the simplicity that is In Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth
another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which

ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well

bear with him. (II Corinthians 11:2 ̶ 4)

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by
grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in
heavenly places In Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the
exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For

by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:5 ̶ 9)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. Be not carried about
with divers and strange doctrines; For it is a good thing that the heart be
established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have
                   been occupied therein. (Hebrews 13:8 ̶ 9)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. What does this
scripture really mean? It simply means that the Lord Jesus Christ is the “Same
every moment of the past, every moment of the present, and every moment of
the future; And that the Lord will never change for all eternity.”
What the Lord Jesus did in the Past (related to the word of God) He will also do it
in the Present and He will also do in the Future. Because God can’t change.
