How could this miracle possibly happen on that given day? Let us now with the
divine help of the Holy Spirit review what actually transpired that day.
For it is written in Matthew 4:17; From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,
Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. The Lord Jesus was actually saying
that the Kingdom of Heaven arrived on that very day. In the Kingdom of Heaven
that the Lord Jesus brought from Heaven there is no Lack in the Lord’s Kingdom
of Heaven on earth.
Therefore, Here is what really happened on that unbelievable day. As we take a
close look at the scripture in John 6:11, 12; And when the Lord Jesus took the five
barley loaves, and two small fishes into His hands, and when He had given thanks
(and blessed them) they went from the kingdom of the earth to the actual Kingdom
of Heaven that the Lord Jesus brought. Then the Lord Jesus distributed the five
barley loaves, and two small fishes in a basket to the twelve disciples. And then the
disciples began to distribute the barley loaves and the fishes to the multitude of
people, the loaves and fishes began to multiply in the baskets until everyone was fed.
(Paraphrased)
It should be noted that the twelve disciples by themselves could not feed five
thousand men plus their wives and children. So the disciples began to ask for
volunteers among the men to assist in passing out the loaves and fishes to the
Great company of people until everyone was fed.
Then after this miracle of feeding the multitudes took place the Lord said unto his
disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they
gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five
barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. The
multitude of people that day were all Jewish men, women and children, and the
twelve baskets with the fragments of food represents the final salvation of all the
Jewish people from the twelve tribes of Israel.
For it is written in Romans 11:25 − 26; For I would not, brethren, that ye should be
ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness
in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all
of Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer,
and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. (During this miracle of feeding the
multitudes, all the people were Jewish from the twelve tribes, the twelve disciples
were all Jewish, the Lord Jesus Christ was also Jewish; and there were twelve
baskets with the fragments of food.) The number Twelve represents the Twelve
Tribes of Israel.
For it is written in John 6:16 − 21; And when even was now come, his disciples went
down unto the sea, And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum.
And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. And the sea arose by reason
