P. 148

Abed–nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then
Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said
unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?
They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see

four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form
of the fourth is like the Son of God.

It should be noted that what happened that day after Shadrach, Meshach, and
                   Abed–nego made the following statements:
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery
furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto
thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods. At that point God the Father sent the
Lord Jesus to place His Glory on Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego.
Thus the Glory of God surrounded each of them in a eighteen foot diameter and also
the mighty men that picked them up to cast them into the fire. The moment that these
mighty men cast Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego into the fiery furnace the
Glory of God went with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego; thus the mighty men
were no longer protected by God’s glory and the flames of the fire slew those mighty
                   men immediately.
For it is written in John 6:33 ̶ 35,36,38,41,43,47 ̶ 51; For the bread of God is He
which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they
unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the
bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me
shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen Me, and believe not.
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that

sent Me. The Jews then murmured at Him, because He said, I am the bread which
came down from heaven. Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not
among yourselves. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath
everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness,
and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat
thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man
eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world.
It should be noted that the Lord Jesus said, the bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world. The Lord Jesus was actually saying that
My Bread or My Word that I will give is My Flesh. In that My Word is my Flesh, and
My Bread is my Flesh also. For it is written in John 6:63; Lord Jesus also said. It is
the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you,
they are spirit, and they are life. (Paraphrased)
The Lord Jesus was actually saying that My words are Spirit, and they are Life. In
that if anyone consumes My words or consumes my Bread or consumes My Flesh,
because they believe in Me, they will obtain eternal Life.
