(Revelation Comments of Chapter 10)
The Holy Spirit’s revelation of what the Lord Jesus meant when He said, “the thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” (John 10:10) Satan’s master
plan and mode of operation everyday is to: first, steal the word of God from the
spiritual hearts of born-again believers; second, kill the love relationship between
Almighty God and each believer; third, destroy the believers God-given gift of
salvation so that the believer now becomes a non believer and he or she end up in
hell forever. Note: This is Satan’s master plan and mode of operation every day until
God’s redemption plan of Mankind is finished.
The Lord Jesus said, “I AM the Good Shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life
for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep
are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf
catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.” (John 10:11 – 12) It should be noted that
when the Lord Jesus said, “I AM the good shepherd” the Lord Jesus was actually
saying, “I am the only good shepherd for the house of Israel forever and there is
none else.” Because the name I AM is the most powerful name of Almighty God.
The Holy Bible is a book of the Almighty God’s I AM’s.
John 10:17 – 18 says, “Therefore doth My Father love Me, because I lay down My
life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment
have I received of My Father.” The Holy Spirit’s revelation of what the Lord Jesus
said, “I lay down My life, that I might take it again. No man (no soldier) taketh it
from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power
to take it again.” In other words the Roman soldiers did not crucify the Lord Jesus, in
that the Lord said, “No man taketh my life from me,” because the Lord had the God
given power to lay down His life, because that was one of the main reasons He came,
to die on the cross for the sins of mankind. The Lord Jesus chose to lay down His
God given life by being crucified and He actually allowed it to happen.
“The Jews answered Him, saying, ‘For a good work we stone thee not; but for
blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.’ Jesus
answered them, ‘Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If He called them
gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.’ (John
10:33 – 35) The Holy Spirit’s revelation of what the Lord Jesus said, ‘I said, ye are
gods.’ For it is written in Psalm 82:6, “I have said, ‘Ye are gods; and all of you are
children of the most High.’” For it is written in John 10:36, “Say ye of Him, whom
the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said,
‘I am the Son of God?’”
For it is also written in Genesis 1:26, “And God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our
