My State Senior Councilor Biography

Greetings, I am Sean Putman from High Plains Chapter in Castle Rock, Colorado. I have
been with my chapter for nine years, first as a Squire and now as a chapter member. I have
loved every minute of being a DeMolay and learning to be a better person and lead-
er. DeMolay has been in my blood, since I found out my grandfather was in the organization
when he was a teenager. Ever since then, my family have welcomed the Masonic family as
part of our family. I have always dreamed of sitting alongside my father in a lodge and con-
tinue on my Masonic career. This year, I have taken the first step of becoming a Mason by
receiving my 1st degree with Douglas Lodge #153, so now I am an Entered Apprentice.
Originally a Californian, I moved to Colorado when I turned nine and loved living here. I am
a sports centered person, having played soccer since I was five, and more recently rugby at
Legend High School. This past year, I have served as the State Senior Councilor alongside
my brothers: Forrest, Mason, and Erik. I have learned so much from this past year and now
face the challenge of going to college in the fall. I know my future will be busy, but I look
forward to these challenges knowing they will make me a better friend, brother, and leader.
