The efficacy and safety of Bimatoprost/Timolol maleate, latanoprost/
Timolol and Travoprost/Timolol maleate fixed combination on 24-h IOP

Methodology:

A prospective, observer-masked, randomized study included 50 patients
with primary open-angle glaucoma. All patients were using hypotensive
lipids and timolol maleate fixed combination treatment. 3 groups of fixed
combination:
• Bimatoprost/timolol
• Latanoprost/timolol

- Travoprost/timolol

IOP was monitored for 24-h (10 am, 2 pm, 6 pm, 10 pm, 2 am and 6 am).
Key messages:

• Mean 24h IOP was similar in all three groups
• No significant differences in diurnal and nocturnal IOP variations
between the three groups.
• LTFC provided the better IOP lower effect at night time
