My vision for Australian defence aerospace sees integrated Primes, SMEs
AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE and Defence working together. This will ensure the Australian warfighter
receives the best outcome in terms of equipment and support that the
Defence budget can deliver.

This vision will be built on taking measured risks within trusted and respectful
partnerships involving all stakeholders.
Rapidly evolving 5th generation technologies must be deployed to the
aerospace warfighter more efficiently. Spiral development provides ideal
integration pathways, allowing users to determine how best to exploit innovation
and technical advancements. This approach must extend to ideas and
technology that are not currently employed in the defence environment. Spiral
approaches will enable the 5th generation air force to continuously adapt to
current and future threats.
Daronmont regards Jericho as the ideal vehicle to promote early adoption of
innovation. Allowing industry to build trusted relationships with the Aerospace
warfighter will deliver combat advantage. Tightening the feedback loop and
encouraging the warfighter to drive and direct innovation with smart young
engineers and scientists will deliver the Jericho vision.
