A collaborative approach to developing training
systems is a powerful way to ensure that RAAF
and its warfighters remain ahead of the technology
curve. Plan Jericho’s industry engagement model
is well placed to deliver fast paced technology
advancements.

Cirrus has been working with RAAF through Plan Jericho
to develop high end simulation technology capability
for Number 1 Flying Training School. Cirrus, RAAF and
CASG have interacted collaboratively, resulting in rapid
technology development built using end-user expertise
all through the process. The outcome is a production
environment where engineering has flourished, leading
to innovations that would not have been achieved in
isolation.
The benefits of the Jericho model have been repeatedly
observed, with quality capability delivered rapidly and
representing clear value for money.
Ideally, the future fabric of the defence aerospace
sector will adopt this model more broadly. More agile
engagements, coupled with innovative problem solving,
CIRRUS’ SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY will see RAAF not only keep ahead of the technology
curve, but alter its trajectory.
