                  Thai Automotive Sales Show Mixed Results


            2016 statistics for automotive sales in June show similar results to May this year with private car sales down from
            last year. Commercial vehicle sales have improved shifting to be a main driver of automotive product sales. Sales
            for June totaled 102,560 vehicles sold which reflects a 7.9% increase from 2015. Sales of private cars have been
            partially affected by the first car project a few years ago which encouraged spending with rebates along with a lack of
            consumer confidence during this time of global economic recession which has directly affected consumer spending.
            Manufacturers are still confident in border trading with neighbor countries whose economies are growing reflecting in
            increasing commercial vehicle sales.
