Lost
The fog enveloped me and my two best friends, Eva and Mia, thick and suffocating. We pressed through the dense
forest; uncertainty clouded our path. Fear gripped my heart, but there was no turning back; we had to move on. Every
step was struggling, the air became humid and oppressive, making breathing difficult. The endless road stretched
before us and offered no respite. Lost in the heart of the pitch-black forest, we faced the harsh reality of no food, water,
shelter, or warmth. That is the time when we began to panic.
I was out of breath, and the pain was suffering. My knees languished, and I went down as if entering a deep, dark
tunnel. The world faded, and I passed out.
I awoke to a stinging sensation as Eva slapped my face, followed by Mia's worried and scared look. I tried to get up with
excruciating pain in my stomach but finally managed to lean against a tree. The air was thick with an awkward stillness
broken only by the howling of wolves. The moon, struggling to break out of the thick fog, cast an eerie light.
Continuing on, we found a madman in this abandoned forest. We went near him but were careful not to go where the
animals live, which he protected a lot. A wolf appeared with scary red eyes and looked at us, saying it would come
back. We went back, but the wolf kept looking at us.
Finally, we reached a mysterious house with smoke coming out of its chimney. The knocking was quiet enough to
excite us, but a steady moaning was heard, and a beautiful young woman emerged. Rescue. She handed us the phone,
and within minutes a midnight-blue car raced to our rescue. The drive home was full of much-needed sleep. Normalcy
returned and wrapped us in its comforting arms. Gone were the challenges, replaced by the warmth of safety and the
promise of a familiar reality.
