I have listed only a few based on our own experiences in Dorset and close to Swanage, see page 10 for a places to visit in Swanage.
Putlake Farm:
Only a short drive from the house, a lovley little indoor and outdoor play area, picnic area and a few animal zones, feeding of lambs and a little cuddle with the rabbits. www.putlakeadventurefarm.co.uk
Farmer Palmers:
About 20mins drive from the house, lots of indoor and outdoor play area, take a change of clothes for the wet area. Picnic areas. Lots more to see and do includes a tractor ride, lots going on every day including pig racing, feeding the lambs, brushing the pony and a smallpetting area.

Monkey World:
About 25mins drive from the house, take a picnic, play area’s and lots to see.
May well be worth popping to Bovington if you are over this way to the Tank Museum, lots to see especially for little boys.

Weymouth Sea Life Centre:
About 40mins from the house, book on-line to save time. Take swim clothes for the wet areas, pack a picnic.

Dorchester Dinosaur Museum:
About 30mins from the house, may be offering discounts if you book on-line. You could also pop to Lulworth Cove on your return journey for a stroll and to see Durdle Door for that great photo opportunity or go fossil hunting at Kimmeridge.

Sandbanks Crazy Golf:
About 20mins from the house across the ferry, why not take the bus, it’s lovely, parking is expensive and you don’t get the views like you do on the open top bus.
