VARIOUS RECYCLING OF EVERYTHING INCLUDING FOOD!
• General rubbish - fortnightly - smaller black bin
• Recycling - fortnightly (separate green bin for all glass) - larger black bin • Glass - weekly - small green box
• Food - weekly - caddy
Please leave out the required bins, (copy neighbors, changes too often to list) on a Thursday early morning.
Weekly they will collect the food, glass green bin and either general rubbish or recycling. We aim to empty on a changeover day however should your bin get full the local refuse site is only a few mins drive away. Great Cafe for breakfast also!!! ‘The Office’.
RECYCLING
Paper and cardboard including:
• wrapping paper (not foil based) • newspapers • envelopes • directories • magazines • shredded paper (small quantities) • cereal boxes • greetings cards • cardboard
• plastic bottles (including milk, soft drinks, shampoo, shower gel, cleaning products)
• plastic pots (including yoghurt, cream, soup)
• plastic tubs (including margarine, butter, ice cream)
• plastic trays (including fruit and vegetable punnets)
• plastic lids (they must be placed back on the plastic bottles, pots and tubs)
• tins and cans
• aerosals (including deodorant, hairspray, furniture polish)electrical items
GENERAL RUBBISH
• disposable nappies • plastic film and polystyrene • broken glass (wrapped in paper) • cold ashes • medical and sanitary waste • disposable razors (wrapped in paper)
• tissues and paper towels • foil-based wrapping paper
GLASS BOX
• glass bottles and jars • metal bottle/jar tops (left on the bottle or jar) NO BROKEN GLASS
FOOD WASTE
• meat, fish and bones • fruit and vegetables peelings • cheese and dairy produce
• cakes • bread and pastries • leftovers, including plate scrapings • tea bags and coffee • pasta, rice and egg shells
NO OILS
