Elephant Hills Resort
One of three African Sun Hotels in the destination, the Elephant Hills Hotel offers 276 rooms plus extensive leisure
and conference facilities making an ideal venue for larger groups, meetings and incentives, gala dinners and other corporate events.
Located on a bluff four kilometres from the Victoria Falls, it features a 72-stroke, 18-hole championship golf course designed by Gary Player, plus a rainforest atrium, two floodlit tennis courts and two squash courts, two large swimming pools and gym, Safari spa and beauty centre and four restaurants and a poolside bar.
There are 12 suites and a presidential suite – all recently refurbished - and every room has en-suite bathroom, private balcony, air-conditioning, digital satellite television, bar fridge, study and writing desk, safety deposit box, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities.
Event venues include Samukele, a carvery with glass walls overlooking the pool and golf course with live African entertainment nightly, and capacity of 180 pax; Kasibi Terrace featuring a long buffet ideal for large conference groups (capacity up to 120 pax); Pool area with a feature African barbeque dinner and traditional drummers and dancers catering for up to 350 pax; Halfway House restaurant and bar, a thatched gazebo at the 10th hole on the golf course with capacity for 80 pax, and Mapopoma Bar.
Meetings & Events
Prime venue is the Kalala room with a spacious stage area, high ceilings and creative lighting that is complemented by state-of-the-art audio and video equipment linked to a dedicated control room. At the other end of the spectrum are smaller intimate boardrooms located away from the activity of the main conferencing area for complete privacy.
The Kingdom Hotel
Boasting the closest location to the Falls themselves, the Kingdom Hotel is a leisure resort aimed at fulfilling the requirement for
holiday adventure while being one of the first three ISO-accredited hotels in Zimbabwe (the other two are its sister hotels, The Victoria Falls Hotel and the Elephant Hills Resort).
Built around a man-made lake, the hotel has 294 rooms featuring en-suite bathrooms with shower and bath; air-conditioning; personal safe; digital satellite television; hairdryer and safety deposit box; and tea and coffee facilities.
Aiming at a premium clientele, The Kings Club has been recently introduced in a 52-room wing offering guests a personal hostess service during their stay, dedicated check-in and check- out, hand massage, fruit and champagne on arrival, plus complementary sundowners and snacks every afternoon.
Facilities for all include three pools, Safari spa and hair salon, the Makasa Casino (the only one in the area); the Great Enclosure food court; pharmacy and bank; curio shops and the Adventure Connection for booking activities, plus a modern conferencing centre with four rooms of various sizes.
