software. Mindset to adapt to the usage of taking off software should be
cultivated among the employees.
Also, should always concentrate on the new products that are upcoming
in the industry. Focus on the threats through continuous observation and
updates. The challenge is likely to arise from the resistance to change and
overlapping professional boundaries. To receive the true benefits of taking
off software, changes in procurement strategies, processes, cultures, and
attitudes become necessary.
Firms need first and foremost to ensure that their quantity surveyors have
sufficient professional expertise in the core competencies and skills of
the profession and continue to develop this expertise. Adequate on the
job training should be in place for inexperienced employees. Retraining
of quantity surveyors who are going to handle the taking off software to
supervise, maintain and programme the taking off software as needed, so
as the taking off software acquired are not seen as a way to replace the
employers. The training can be incorporated through a set of necessary

lead to the deterioration of fundamental professional skills that will

to lose more than most if they fail to keep in touch with developments and
