              FROM THE TREASURER
Greetings, Sky Soldiers! This year has posed several challenges for the Association, first and fore- most struggling with continuing to publish our magazine that provides immense benefit to Sky Soldiers but also costs a small fortune to print and mail out. Thank you to members who have sent in dona- tions or purchased an advertise- ment in the magazine to help the Association remain economically viable. I wish I had the time to personally send thank you letters to everyone who made donations or generously purchased an ad- vertisement, it definitely provides motivation for me to continue to do this job knowing that the Asso- ciation is so important to so many Sky Soldiers. I would like to send a special thank you to the Austra- lia chapters for pitching in and donating $450 to the Association, it definitely reminded me that
the bonds of our airborne family extend across the world.
If you not yet done so, please consider becoming a life member of the Association- the benefits ex- tend not only to you as a member, but also your chapter and the As- sociation as a whole. Not only will you save money (a flat $173 fee instead of the annual fee of $24), it will also save the Association time and money by not having to track you down to collect your annual dues. You will also receive a life membership card as well, which is always great to flash at the annual reunion! Having more life mem- bers also helps the Association
develop a solid base of support on which it can count on in for planning future projects. As the holidays approach, a life member- ship also makes a great gift!
As the holidays approach I would like to remind members
to shop at the Association store
for Sky Soldier themed gifts for friends and loved ones. Also please consider setting up a monthly recurring donation to the Asso- ciation, even if it is as small as
$5. You will not notice it missing from your paycheck and a small contribution from every member will make a huge difference. To
set up a recurring donation, go to https://www.skysoldier.net/Associ- ation-Donations.
Finally, if you purchase items on Amazon, please go to the smile. amazon.com website. Amazon
will donate .5% of the price of your purchase to the Sky Soldier Foundation. Once you are logged into the smile.amazon website, select the Sky Soldier Foundation as the receiving organization. Your support will definitely make a dif- ference in helping the Foundation make an impact in the lives of Sky Soldiers and their families (unfor- tunately, the Association cannot participate in this program because it is limited to 501(c)(3) organiza- tions).
Thank you for your support! Sky Soldiers!
