Valentine’s Day Parties
We are having Valentine’s Day parties on Tuesday, February 13 and
Wednesday, February 14, 2018. All classes will be exchanging Valentines.
Please write your child’s name on their Valentine in the “from” section.
Please leave the “to” section empty (this will make it easier for the students
to pass them out). Please make sure you include enough Valentines for each
student in the class. We will be serving Valentine sugar cookies.
Class Sizes
ABC AM: 16 students Adventures in Learning: 13 students
ABC PM: 15 students
Pajama Week is Coming!
Parents! Please have your preschooler wear their pajamas the week of
February 19 - February 23, 2018. During daily free play, the students will
watch Disney movies and nibble on popcorn. On Thursday and Friday, all
classes will enjoy a Hot Cocoa Station. Students will choose their
toppings including marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream.
Reminders
∗ Thursday, February 15, 2018
Please make sure to remit your child’s tuition payment by Thursday,
February 15 to avoid the $15 late fee.
Please remember to check your child’s snack calendar.
The snack calendar can be viewed on the parent board located outside
the preschool door or on Litchfield Park Preschool’s Facebook page.
Odds & Ends
February is National Low Vision Month!
If you’ve noticed your child experiencing problems seeing, hearing, or
with speech, please take the time to contact your primary care physician
or optometrist to discuss having your child tested. Early intervention is
important!
For our students’ safety.
Only instructors and registered students are permitted in the classroom.
This is a mandate of the Arizona Department of Health and Human
Services.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Breakfast provides our children with the energy and nutrients that lead to
increased concentration in the classroom. It also provides energy for
activities during the morning and helps to prevent mid-morning slumps.
The cold and flu season is upon us.
We’d like to remind parents to keep your child at home if they are ill.
Please continue working with your child at home.
Classroom learning reinforced by parent involvement builds a strong
team to enrich your preschooler’s early childhood education.
