APPLICATIONS
APPLICATIONS
Full scale range :
The SG1 sensor is an extensometer specially designed for the measure of 2900 µm/m
the microstrains in a concrete structure: armed or not armed.
The extensometer SG1 is mainly employed in the follow-up of concrete Average resolution:
works composed by small aggregates (nuclear power plants, tunnels 0,35 µm/m
ressels), works in special concretes (bridges, storage alveoli for radioactive
materials ), but also for the control of every types of concrete construction Extensometric coefficient

DESCRIPTIF ESCRIPTION
The welded parts to the SG1 sensor are completely manufactured in steel
with a protection cover on surface. This type of completely welded Cable :
assemblage allows the SG1 to stay waterproof and deformable (very low Model 5C
stiffness), to have an excellent corrosion resistance to the external 5 voltage lead
chemical attacks. (To define according to prescriptions and environment of Shielding braid
use)
The SG1 is designed to be placed in the concrete. The operator will exactly Load resistance :
locate the extensometer in the formwork before concreting. The SG1 includes > 80 Ω
at its extremities two symmetric cheeks in which is anchored the piano wire,
included in the concrete. It is this wire which deforms and which allows to Options :
follow the strain of the concrete. The frequency wire vibration is directly Adaptation for on-surface
proportional in its strain . So the engineers are able to know the strains applied installation by weld
in the zones of installation of extensometer SG1 if they know the evolution of
the concrete module of the concrete in time. Specific regulation of the wire
The relation between the extensometer frequencies read by the piano wire tension
SG1 allows directly to calculate the strain in extension and/or compression Withness bloc
by means of its coefficient K. The result of this deformation strain can be
refined by taking into account the variation of the temperature associated Accessories :
