APPLICATIONS
APPLICATIONS
The sensor SGS1 is a surface vibrating wire an extensometer designed Average Resolution :
for the measure of the microdeformations of a concrete or metallic 0,1 µm/m
structure.
The SGS1 is mainly used in the following of the deformations of concrete Extensometrical coefficient
works armed or metallic structure or for already built works. It can be 3,125 x 10
-3
installed where no instrumentation had been planned at the time of the
construction (bridges, tunnels, bump). Cable :
Modele 5C
D 5 conductors
DESCRIPTIF ESCRIPTIF
The parts of the sensor SGS1 are completely manufactured in some Armor plating
stainless steel, what allows the SGS1 to have an excellent corrosion
resistance and in the outside chemical attacks. (To define according to Coils Resistance :
prescriptions and environnent of use) > 80 Ω
Both extremities of the SGS1, are tight and adjustable cheeks. They are
designed to be anchored in the moderate structure and they allow by
the operator an in situ direct regulation in frequency of the Options :
extensometer. The operator can so adapt the frequency of origin N0 to Anchor to weld
optimize the area of measure of the microdeformation in drive or in Anchor to embeded
compression following the expectations of the predictive calculations Cable exit (perpendicular)
(digital simulation). New interventions by operator can be realized to Cable exit longitudinal)
Specials Anchors adapted
adjust the SGS1 or to get back the material for new operations of
monitoring.
The relation between frequency and deformation is given by the Accessories :
following relation: Δl/l =k *(F²-Fo²) The value of this deformation can Protection box
be refined by taking into account the variation of the temperature Assembly jig
associated with the sensor. The temperature allows to correct the Embed jig
results obtained in relative deformations, variations of the relative Rotary switch pannel
differential dilations between the coefficient of expansion of the Central unit
extensometer SGS1 in steels and of the concrete of the structure or the
metal of the work: ferrous or non-ferrous.
