Kelly Williams Brown
New York Times Best-Selling Author
Kelly Williams Brown is the New York Times best-selling author of Adulting: How to Become a Grown-Up in 468 Easy(ish) Steps, which tackles everything from how bleach works to what you say in a condolence note. She’s also worked as a features and breaking news reporter, a humor columnist, and copywriter-strategist. Kelly is a guest speaker at UP’s Etiquette Dinner.
Ken Austin
Chairman of the Board and Founder — A-Dec Inc.
Ken Austin, Chairman of the Board, is co-founder and owner of A-dec. He and his wife, Joan, founded the company in 1964, building an air-operated oral evacuator to market in Oregon. Today, A-dec is one of the largest independent dental equipment manufacturers in the world. Ken and Joan helped fund the development of OSU’s Austin Hall, where he will present during YEBW.

Max Janasik leads the ‘Innovation Force’ at Cambia Health Solutions. Max drives a culture of innovation
by creating intrapreneurs, designing new businesses, accelerating existing divisions and leading external co-innovation efforts. Prior to Cambia, Max led the eBusiness team at Regence BlueCross BlueShield. He also served as Director of Product Management at CheckFree Corporation, Director of Community Banking Products at Corillian Corporation, a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen and founder of Health Inspire. Max joins YEBW at UP.
Monica Enand
Founder and CEO — Zapproved
Monica Enand brings extensive management experience and software expertise to the Zapproved team.
She has grown Zapproved into a leading cloud-based software—transforming the way corporate legal departments respond to litigation so they can take control over the process, mitigate risk and reduce costs. Prior to this, Monica spent more than 15 years with blue-chip companies such as Intel and IBM. As an active member of the Portland entrepreneurial community, she was recently appointed to the Oregon Growth Board by the Governor of Oregon. Monica presents at UO.
