                                                Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures


               User Responsibility


                              This product performs in conformity with the descriptions contained in this
                              manual and accompanying labels and/or inserts, when assembled, operated,
                              maintained and serviced in accordance with the instructions provided.

                              This product should be checked periodically. Parts that are broken, missing,
                              plainly worn, distorted, or contaminated, should be replaced immediately.
                              Should repair or replacement become necessary, contact Hill-Rom Technical
                              Support at (800) 445-3720.

                              This product and all of its parts should be repaired in accordance with written
                              instructions provided by Hill-Rom. It should not be altered without the prior
                              written approval of Hill-Rom. The medical facility’s staff shall have sole
                              responsibility for any malfunction of this product that results from improper
                              installation, use, faulty maintenance, improper repair, damage, or alteration by
                              anyone other than a Hill-Rom Service Representative.



                              WARNING:
                              No maintenance or testing should ever be undertaken or attempted by
                              anyone not having general experience in the repair of devices of this              4
                              nature. Also, to avoid damaging the unit or any of its components, no
                              maintenance or testing should be undertaken by qualified individuals
                              who are not completely familiar with the procedures in this manual.
                              Personal injury or equipment damage could occur.
