Slipper Columns

Description
The Slipper Column is a tubular steel structure which can
be installed without the need for re-cabling. As its name
suggests, the Slipper Column is designed to fit over a
preexisting concrete column. Simply cut down the old
concrete columns and slip over the new steel column.

Specifications
Valmont Stainton manufacturers a wide range of tubular steel
slipper lighting columns from 5 to 6 metres.

The standard corrosion protection system is hot dip
galvanised to BS EN 1461. In addition, a variety of root
treatments and full paint specification options are available.

Valmont Stainton operates a Quality Assurance system
which complies with requirements of BS EN ISO 9001.

Our welders and welding procedures are independently
certified in accordance with EN ISO 9606 and EN
ISO 15607.
