1B. Color Coding and Tape Dispensing - Residual edges resulting from the cutting or tearing of tape is a common issue resulting in risk of foreign material. Unilever recommends a thickness that makes it harder for
tape to tear and a color that makes it easy to identify. Folding edge technology also allows the operator to remove the tape without a knife.
Specifications:
• Color: Any color that contrasts corrugate,
equipment, conveyors, and product color.
• Recommended Thickness: ≥1.9 mils
• Folding edge technology for easy removal (without knife)
