1D. Removing Stretch Wrap on Pallets – Unwrapping a pallet properly is as important as wrapping it. If done correctly, it can help prevent plastic from getting into the food production line.

• Allingredientsshouldhaveits plastic stretch wrap removed from the pallet prior to moving to open production/high risk areas.
• When transferring product from wood to plastic pallets, all plastic wrap is to be removed from the bottom, moving upward. This is to eliminate any plastic from getting under the boxes when transferring.
• Anyremainingplasticmustbe removed before bringing the pallet out to the production floor.
