1I. Drum liners- Unilever has seen foreign material result from plastic drum liners. Metal detectable liners have been
identified as a solution to this problem as end of line metal detectors at Unilever factories and suppliers are able to catch and eliminate any drum liner debris within the process.
Metalized Liners Specifications:
1. Aluminum is impregnated within the layers of plastic
used to make this liner
2. Perforated tear strip makes it easy for the operator to open the liner without a knife or extraneous material.
3. Round bottom which makes it easier to empty.
4. Avoid using barrel rings to hold liner in place to avoid tearing.

Unilever partnered with their liner company to pilot metalized drum liners and it will be rolled out in 2019
