introduced a Nurse Residency Program in 2016.
Program participants are hired into cohorts that
include Nurse Residents from Med/Surg, Oncology,
Telemetry, ED Holding, and the RN Float Pool.
Building upon the standards from the Commission
on Collegiate Nursing Education, Nurse Residents
attend a monthly curriculum class designed to
provide professional development and clinical
expertise beyond orientation, including time
management, delegation, and cardiac arrest
management. All Nurse Residents also complete an
evidence-based practice project, which is showcased
