QUALITY METHODOLOGY
Methods used for identifying and implementing quality improvements include:
• Daily Work In Progress meeting held with attendance of key staff from pre-press, print, bindery, dispatch, customer service and sales. This meeting tracks and actions any issues that will impact on our ability to deliver the goods right first time on time.
• A Corrective Action system, which is designed to capture actual and potential product and service non-conformances and to ensure appropriate corrective action, is taken to avoid recurrences. This process is used to continually improve our systems and procedures.
• A monthly productivity meeting held by key staff to review corrective actions, new technology changes, production and process improvements, staff training and multi-skilling.

The quality checking process follows the steps below:
• Test understanding of job requirements. Make no assumptions about the customer’s requirements before running the job. Formerly raised at daily WIP meeting.
• Sample check at planned inspection stages against customer approved proof.
• Quality Inspection Record initialed and dated by operator at each stage of the job.
• Priortopackaginganddistribution, workundergoesafinalcheck process to ensure correct count of originals and copies and compliance with client specification. The Final Inspection is then initialed.
