IT ALL BEGAN BACK IN THE LATE 60s
The KLIQUE Band from Las Vegas was originally formed in Angeles City, Philip- pines back in the late 60’s. Coming from a musically inclined family, Chit and brother Pancho formed a band called The Black Snake and later transformed into The Madisons. Performed all over asia and in Balibago, Angeles City. The IBE’s later opened their own night club called the Blue Eagle entertaining the American service men in Clark Air Force Base. Which later moved to the famous MADISON CLUB that took off and made The MADISON BAND add the Junior MADISONS.
In 1974, the group formed into a family band called CONCHITA and family and was recruited by a Las Vegas based management, Mac Mackin and Associates. Booked the band in all the casinos in Las Vegas, opening act for KENNY ROG- ERS and the First Edition, LOU RAWLS and The JACKSON 5. With the three IBE brothers, Ramon Ibe, Romie Ibe and Fernando Ibe in their young teens years. Eventually, the brothers formed their own band The FAR EAST, which was voted as number one Lounge acts many times in Vegas.
To these days, the two brothers Ramon and Fernando are still doing what they do best in entertainment under the KLIQUE BAND name which they formed about ten years ago.

e Klique Band, as we know them today, has been
a major in uence in the lounge scene in Las Vegas.
It certainly is an honor to feature them in this maga- zine for the world to know that Filipino entertainers still dominate here in the entertainment capital of the world!
We just saw Klique last night March 10 at the Rampart Casino (in Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV) to a packed house of people listening & dancing to their fabulous music.
In the next issues, we will feature more of our local Filipino dance & lounge groups to let the global Filipinos that our talented friends are still highly respected in the LV show biz scene.
