Mary has a very positive attitude and never lets any issues get in her way of doing her best for himagine clients everyday. The External

Audit team relies on Mary for a number of recurring clients' audits, but also new projects as well. Due to the nature of External Audit's
project work, Mary is often assigned to more than one audit at a time which requires her to split her time across projects and work

with different audit managers. The managers have often joked "if we could only clone Mary", so we could give her more assignments!"
She is extremely flexible, and always willing to help the team whatever the situation. Mary performs audits not only through
ReviewMate, but also using Excel templates. This requires her to be willing to adapt to the different tools necessary to conduct the

audit, which she is always able to do. If she is not clear on the parameters for a particular project, she will follow-up with the audit
manager assigned to the project and not make assumptions. She is a good communicator and keeps her managers up-to-date on the

status of the audit(s) she is assigned to in addition to attending Bi-Weekly 1:1 calls. She welcomes challenging audit assignments and
has worked very closely with the MD Anderson audit manager, Linda DeMoss to understand the client's complex coding guidelines.
Through continual attention to detail, attendance at training sessions, and review of the client's coding guidelines/policies, Mary has

improved the rebuttals she provides to the client's coders and the number of cases with which they disagree has diminished. Mary
understands the importance of doing the job right the first time and does not place productivity over quality. She takes her role as an

auditor very seriously and understands the client is depending on accurate results in order to identify any gaps in coding knowledge
and clinical documentation which may impact reimbursement and quality of data. When challenges arise that could put an audit in
jeopardy of being completed on time, she is willing to go the extra mile to work extra hours if necessary in order to make sure we don't

let our clients down.
