MicroLife Ultimate 8-4-6
Improves all soils by feeding the indigenous microbes,
adding billions more, by providing specific soil improvers
like polysaccharides, humic acid, fulvic acid and the major
building blocks of life. MicroLife Ultimate 8-4-6 builds big
root systems which further improves the soil and reduces
water use. Apply 12-15 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
Your side and back yards have approximately 1,350 square
feet of Zoysia lawn, so apply 16-20 lbs. per application on
the new lawn. You can also apply a spray application of
liquid seaweed instead.
Mowing:
Your new lawn will be ready for its first mowing a month
after the new lawn is installed.
Close, frequent mowing produces the finest Zoysia grass.
Mow every 7-10 days. Ideally, Zoysia grass is mowed to be
a height of 2 to 2 1/2 inches. The height of your grass post
mowing, should be 2 -2 ½” tall. Mowing less than these
recommended heights results in scalping and generally poor
quality turf. It is important to use a bag and remove grass
clippings to avoid thatch build up as your grass is becoming
established and after.
