TOTAL ACCURACY
The ScanNCut is a stand alone electronic cutting machine, so just plug it in and off you go!
SCAN...
Enjoy your favourite
stamped images the easy way – simply scan them in and then let the
machine take care of the cutting, too. It’s up to you how you use those images, but what we do know is that easier preparation means more time experimenting. If that’s not enough, you’ll find crafting with scrap pieces of paper a breeze – put your scraps on the mat and move the images to fit on those pieces of paper.
Measure twice; cut once... it applies to papercrafting just as much as it does stitching – that is unless you’re using the
ScanNCut. Use this function to quickly and easily change sizes of shapes to exactly
what you need, so you can create the
perfect matts and layers. Millimetre by millimetre or inch by inch, you’re guaranteed total accuracy.
X Stick to card or experiment with different mediums. The machine can
cut through everything from paper to parchment, construction board and even fabric. Just imagine the possibilities and the different types of crafts you
can try... plus all the amazing mixed media projects at your fingertips. It’s so exciting to discover your designer potential!

As well as scanning in images and then cutting them directly, the machine

Welding might sound a bit techie, but this is a superb function that means you can
create some really unusual shapes, as well as your own card blanks.
blade depth. Consider adjusting the pressure (how hard the blade is pushing into the material) for a clean, accurate cut.”
My fabric is moving around when the blade tries to cut it. What can I do?
“If you are having difficulty with fabric, add a Brother fabric support sheet to a standard mat and keep that for cutting fabric.”
How can I keep mats stickier for longer?
“Keep the dust cover on the mat when not in use to keep it from drying out, and use a Brother scraper to remove stuck bits. If your mat is no longer sticky, use washi tape to keep the item in place.”
