The
When the ScanNCut burst into our world five years ago, we weren’t prepared for just how much it would alter the face of crafting. It’s been a game-changer. Not content
to rest on their laurels, those clever people at Brother keep adding new and innovative updates to make this amazing all-rounder a craft room essential for papercrafters, stitchers and creatives wanting to convert their own designs into usable files. In fact, there are so many possibilities that the ScanNCut can feel a little intimidating for first-time users... but trust us – it’s actually pretty simple, and we’re here to prove it! No matter which ScanNCut model you have, you can choose from hundreds of pre- loaded stored images – this means those basic die shapes you use every day are available at the touch of a button. But that’s not all – there is a whole world
of images to discover to transform your crafting experience... and they’re all stored on one machine!
I Love the ScanNCut
“The ScanNCut makes my crafting life so easy – I can make many different
projects using one machine. It’s so quick to cut out different shapes, which helps when I am batch making cards. There are also lots of stored images on the machine which means I can cut down on the dies that I need and don’t need to worry about storage. I love that the machine can do all the hard work of cutting, drawing, embossing and foiling while I get to do the fun part of putting my project together!”

Helping HAND
X To help keep your mats sticky, make sure to cut the right materials on the right mat. Use the low-tack mat for thinner materials and the standard mats for your thick materials.
X Work out what all the buttons do by selecting them and experimenting. You could even make a note in a pad of what each one does to refer back to later.
X If you are finding that your scanner is not showing a pristine image, open the scanner compartment at the base of the machine and wipe it clean with a dry lint-free cloth.
X Every so often, unscrew the blade holder and remove any pieces that may have got caught up inside.
X When saving images to your ScanNCut memory remember to ungroup before saving. If you don’t, then when you go to use the images again it will appear as just one image and you will not be able to ungroup it again.
We love it and we know you do too... the ScanNCut is a serious piece of kit, and it’s not as daunting as it might seem
