                                               ow what a year it’s been! But the lengthening days and warmer weather give
                                               us hope of sunnier days ahead. We hope this issue brings you joy and inspira-
                                               tion as we celebrate the favorites in our Readers’ Choice survey. Covering
                                 Wa range of topics from dining, drinking, and shopping, to health and beauty
                                 services, gym, schools, events, and the arts. Lots has changed over the course of the year, but
                                 we appreciate those still doing what they do, and doing it well!  We hope you enjoy the beauti-
                                 ful photography (beginning on page 78) by Jerry Clarkson who photographed the winners all
                                 around the Valley, while David Gibb spent some quality time at Red Lily and Elder Apothecary.

                                 On page 48, writer Pamela Gibson takes us on a drive through safari with an in depth look
                                 at Wildlife Safari, Winston. Don’t miss the delicious article by Lisa Manyon about Cocorico
                                 (page 110) and an entire dining guide written by Liza Zimmerman, featuring great summer
            Heidi Chackel, Editor  eats all along the Rogue (page 116). Krissy Milner shares some great ideas on creating a home
                                 office that is as comfortable and efficient as it is beautiful. Another nod to beautiful design is
                                 Val Coulman’s article about the completely redesigned and rebuilt YMCA Camp DeBoer on
                                 Lake of the Woods. Great writing and beautiful photography illustrate the massive scope of
                                 the project, made possible by the generosity, vision, hard work, and foresight of Sid and Karen
                                 DeBoer who have created a space that will be providing amazing memories for generations to
                                 come (page 52).
