COMPETITIONS

t the 2020 Winepress Northwest
APlatinum Judging of the best wines in
the Pacific Northwest, Reustle - Prayer Rock
Vineyards was awarded Best of the Best for
their 2018 Gruner Veltliner, making it the
top white wine of the competition. This is the
second time an entry by Reustle has earned
Best of the Best honors. This year’s compe-
tition featured 721 entries from Oregon,
Washington, Idaho, and British Columbia
that won 1,700 Gold or higher medals.
Reustle also received two Platinum Medals
and fifteen Double Gold Medals.

This year’s 2021 San Diego International
Wine & Spirits Challenge awarded Reustle
– Prayer Rock Vineyards 2018 Malbec their
Best of Class designation—the #1 Malbec in
its competition, with an impressive 95 point
rating. “I am very excited that our Malbec
showed so well at San Diego this year. It is
quite an honor to be recognized like this at
such a large international competition,” says
owner/winemaker Stephen M. Reustle.
