KRISSY MILLNER OF TERRA FIRMA HOME

s technology keeps moving us forward, there are some
fantastic innovations in fabrics. Just because you have
Akids, entertain, or eat popcorn on your sofa, you needn’t
be afraid of ruining it anymore. All of our upholstery manufactur-
ers at Terra Firma Home are offering fabrics that are kid-proof,
and in Oregon, I think that includes your dog. In terms of what
is trending, we are seeing color and rich texture really com-
ing back into play for upholstered furniture. Velvets and Belgian
linens are now available with stain-resistant coatings, giving you
the option of having a home that has a refreshing, design-driven
point of view, instead of the old brown, micro-fiber sofas we
                                         remember.

Visit the Crypton website to learn more about the fabric innova-
tions and see some great designs featuring these new fabrics.
Sustainability is also important in considering what we buy for
our homes and how it relates to the environment.

                                         fabrics today:

                                         comfortable and cozy.

Belgian Linen: Originally used for slipcovers or in more for-
mal settings, these linens can provide a soft, organic feel to any
room, and be stain-resistant. Chenille’s & Textured Fabric
