FALL FUN

             A WILD RUN

             AMONGST ANIMALS OF THE WORLD

ildlife Safari, located in Winston, is a 600-acre 4.5 mile
Wdrive-thru animal park featuring animals from Africa, Asia,
and the Americas. It’s a place where, “You are captive and they roam
free.” And now, as the clouds roll in and the chill falls over the hills,
the fun begins with special events for all ages.

One such event is the Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run and Walk through the
carnivore loop at the park. The event takes place on Thanksgiving
morning, November 22. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Your regis-
tration gets you the fun run, snacks and water, cheetah ambassador
        encounters, and more.

With the cooler weather, the animals are more apt to be near the
road, dining at feeders, running and exploring, making fall a per-
fect time to visit the park. Tickets for all activities, current hours, a
calendar of all upcoming special events, educational programs and
more can be found at the Wildlife Safari website.
